My 210 gallon tank recently had an outbreak of ick. I have taken out the carbon from the filter and used an ick medicine. I have also raised the temperature of the tank. Yesterday we did a 30% water change and vacuumed the tank because the fish looked like they were getting better. Our catfish had the ick the worst but he seems to be doing a little better. Our black pacu looks as if he is shedding white stuff (almost skin like). The ick before was just small white spots so I am not sure if this is something else. The ammonia levels in the tank are good. I don't know what else to do at this point so anything would help.

You're in the wrong sub forum...

What are the rest of the water parameters? What does "good" mean for ammonia levels? They are either perfect (zero) or bad (anything but zero).

Is the tank cloudy or is it something stirred up? Could be a bacteria bloom from stirring the substrate?
