Well I have a 22" redbellied pacu and I was wondering if it would be okay with two more 9-10" pacus? He is one of the nicest fish I have ever kept, He is good with my 4" goldfish. But I was wondering if there would be some agression because they are the same species? I didnt think so, but I want to know for sure before I have two dead fish.

I doubt anybody would die out of that combination..most you would have is one being bossy.. and when they are bossy they like to swim up to the other one and tell them to move along and swim with me..nothing mean.. that i have ever seen between my two pacus..
noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! I have a pacu that beats the crap out of his friend. the other pacu has huge wounds all over its nose right now! dont do it man! Also, they will destroy EVERYTHING

My pacu(19") went through a funk for a couple months where he ate sparringly and stayed in the corner most of the time. Against my better judgement, I picked up a 3-4" pacu to see what would happen. At first they ignored each other but soon after the larger pacu returned to his old form. They are now 20" and 12" and hang out together showing no aggression at all. The competition for food is pretty intense! If you have the room then go for it.
