Defenatly not. Since they can get 4 feet long... I would say 3 is more avereage in the apropriate tank. The fish would not be able to turn around in your tank.

I would say yes most pacu will never get a tank like that i think youd be fine if its 4ft wide.

Also id try and rehome some dont buy them whenh young, theres too many pacu that need rescueing plus you feel good with yourself.

I got a 24 inch pacu in a 6 x 4 x 3
No forseen future problem yet.....

I'm sure the added two feet would make a hell of a difference...
