PACU

pacu's get very big in an instant. i had pacu's too.. and sold them after i found out that they grow to feet!
 
Well in the wild, pacus get 4 feet long and 3 feet tall so ya they ae not a good pet for the average person but the people on M.F.K. know all about that and only get them when they know how to take care of their animal.
 
:cool-1: :popcorn: :cool-1: Pacus are kwon to grow up to 30" or more i have 4 of them yes 4 each one about 16"long
BUT I DO LOVE THEM SO :}:}:}:}SOME PICS OF MY BABYS
 
OBVIOUSLY yes have to be wiling to take care of them pic are 3 months old now 2 are in
180 gal 2 are in 225gal some mor pics also building a pond in the back about 1000gal
as u see two difrent tanks many PEOPLE are not willing SPEND a couple of thousands of dollars
in tanks to house them HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHE but here u will see that we will go
to any measure for our pets , take a look i have a total of over 650gallons in tanks
in my living room alone here is my african cichlid tank plus my gurami tank, peace and LOL
+ a brackish water tank with a scatfish, a pufferfish, an archerfish and a bumblebeefish,pics coming

well pacus are not pirhanah, so this forum may need to be moved, anyway my dad had about 5 in his 125 a few years ago, well he sold em and there long gona and so is the tank, but a couple months ago at the lfs is saew about a quarter sized pacu, i was like no.....no da u cant do it....no!!!!!!!!!!!!! well hes almost 10inches now and eats a pork hotdog in less than 30 sec

how did the fish get too small for the tank?:screwy: ...sorry for the rub, just trying to get my five posts in so I can start seeing some pics too
