Hey everyone! This is my first post to this site, so I'm sorry if I am not posting this in the right place!

My husband and I have 2 red bellied pacus that are about 23 inches long. We have had them since they were tiny babies and they are in great health!

Our tank is 150 gallons and I can't help but think that two fish of this size (that are always getting bigger) should be given a better home. We are reluctant to get rid of them because we absolutely love them, but want to see them in a better place with more space to live in.

Here's my question: Is there anyone who would be interested in taking these fish? We don't want to charge anything for them, but want to see them put in a good home with more room than we have. We live in the Las Vegas area and have tried to give them to Bass Pro Shop and the Mandalay Bay Shark Reef, but neither place will take them. My last resort is calling the San Diego Zoo.

Any help would be much appreicated! By the way, I have pictures if anyone wants to see them! I am just not sure how to post them! I'm working on it though!

I think if I'm not mistaken there are actually people who rescue monstrous fish or take them as donations. I don't have much information as to who or what organization does this. But I know if you browse around a little bit more you'll find someone to take them in. Good luck with your search :)
