Thinking of trading in my fish for a paddle tail newt, my current tank is getting too small for my fish and i don't really have room for a bigger tank, I've been thinking about switching over to some sort of rep/amphibian, any thoughts or tips for switching over?

Have you done your research?

Here's a quick summary for you.

These are toxic, violent creatures. Interspecies and intraspecies aggression observed. No mixing for all herps. Temps about 20 degrees celsius.
Worms for lunch, avoid pellets, freeze dried. Best options will be nightcrawlers; red wrigglers are slightly noxious and may not be accepted.
20 gallon? Fairly interactive newts. Largely aquatic, do not force them on land.

I hope I haven't missed anything.

All the why's can be found through research.

Yeah I figure a 20 gallon for one would be ok.
