Paddy field eels

This is my first thread in MFK....
I thought to share some some paddy field eels that I found when I went to China..People there eat these eels, they collect lot of this kinda eels from paddy fields after few hours of spreading some chemical there.
in the 2nd pic there is a star fish , have a look..

hmm...I kinda want to eat them...cause I love eel...but then they look like worms and turn my stomach.

Starfish to most people represents the saltwater animal that looks like a star, lol.

What is the species name of that big long fish? looks cool.
