it will be a while before they can swallow the dog lol yes, they grow quite large. mines are only 3' i think there are bigger ones (4'?) on MFK. I have never seen a bigger than 4' myself (neither here nor elsewhere). Heheeheh some of the people who have them at 4' have them i really big set-ups so they dont look so big unless you have a point of reference.
i find that growth slows down considerably now + i dont power feed so they should last for another while (for reference three length of tile is 4'). so there is still a good foot to go - if they do reach the 4' i would consider building them a bigger set-up (in hind sight i should have built 3x3 or 3x4 but only got 3x2)
