Just wondering if anyone does nothing to inside of there DIY stands. After building this thing in my sunroom where it will stay I'm not looking forward to priming and painting the inside of this 125 gal stand. Planning on staining the outside. Wondering about the drawbacks of just leaving it raw wood on the inside and how many if any don't do anything to the inside of there stands

I personally would stain the inside as well.

I paint it white so I can see and basically turn it into a containment area

Having problems with the top of my stand being level I think. When I put tank ontop of the plywood one back corner and half way along the back of tank has a gap of 1/32 to 1/16. I shimmed the corner but when I try to shim along the back it messes with the corner shims. Not sure what to do. Was thinking of pulling off wood getting a 2x4 that stretches from front to back of stand putting sandpaper on it and trying to block sand it level. Don't really want to go backwards but I don't know what else to try

Wife is getting sick of me asking her for help moving the tank on and off the stand trying to fix it
