I got these tanks off of craigslist and so far the setup has come out quite nicely if I may say so myself lol. They came from a gutted petstore so they have that blue paint on the back and sides of them. I would like to remove that blue and spraypaint the back and sides black, but Im not sure what would be safe to use on aquariums. Anyway thanks for the help in advance and these are the tanks: (and no its not slanted thats just the way I was holding the camera lol)

Nice oscar!

Unfortunately, spraypaint is a bit of a challenge to remove cleanly from glass. The first thing to try is a razor blade. You'll probably have to move on to solvents after that, but I'm not the guy to advise you on that.

Have fun!!

If the tanks are glass, just use a razor blade.

Im not sure what kind of paint was used by the petstore. I will try a razor blade... I was just hoping it would not come to thank lol, its a lot of paint. I had also plan on doing this when I moved next and making it a day project and putting my Oface into a plastic trashcan. But if Im going to be useing solvents to get rid of the paint it will probably need more than a few hours to dry and air out. But its going to look really nice when Im done!!
