Does anyone know of any paints that are aquarium safe? I am looking to paint a decoration to be put in my tank. Are there any paints that are safe?

I painted my diy spray bar with krylon fusion spray paint. Been in the tank for 5 months now, no problems.

I can't think of anything that is specifically aquarium safe. Mast paints today have had most human toxins to make them kid safe. As we all know human and fish toxicology are different. That being said, use any child safe or acrylic based (or even oil-based) paint to paint your decoration, then cover it with an acrylic or polyurethane clear coat (several coats with sufficient drying time between coats) and you should be safe.

I've read several posts on MFK where people are using Drylok paint and tinting it with concrete dye; you can get all this at your local home improvement store.
They just paint it on and I have not heard of any problems.

Krylon Fusion spray paints I have used for three yrs in reefs, fresh and terrariums, let dry x 7 days and then safe to use.
