Painting Acrylic

Just wanted to share my two cents.
I purchased some carbon black Rust-oleum High performance enamel spray paint. Got tired of searching forums for info, so i tested on the top of tank. Then went for it. I used Alcohol to remove any oils and comtaminants. Then spayed in one coat. Turned out beautiful!
One of the trends i noticed is how hard it is to remove. Alcohol releases the paint like a charm! Just takes lots of paper towels lol. I'm no pro but this seems to work very well. Good luck and thanks for reading!

thanks for sharing, I'm looking to paint my 60 Acrylic this coming week, bought the paint, just haven't has the time.

I appreciate that as well. I'm just about ready to paint mine, and it's good to know that I can get the paint off in the future If need be. Headed to the store today to get the same paint.

Just wanted to add, aclohol puts a fog on the acrylic. This can be buffed out pretty easy with novus step 2.
