PAINTING FLOWER POTS

i don't like the look of flower pots. so i was wondering about painting ceramic flower pots with krylon fusion. i was thinking fusion just because i've herd its fish safe when cured. any input is welcome

i would just get some aquarium safe silicone, a bag of aquarium gravel. smear the silicone onto the pot and put the gravel on top and let it dry. would look a lot more natural than paint.

not really what i was asking and i have done that in the past but alot of the sand or gravel rubs off in time. also my tank is bare bottomed so i would like to keep the grit out. but thanks for a reply
