Painting my tank

This weekend im draining my tank and moving it because the fish in it are being sold and im restarting with fresh new water and so on and so forth, my question is how should i paint it and what kind of paint to use? Just the back side of it btw

What fish are you getting. I'm pretty sure spray paint would be the better choice. I've never done this but I know there's many threads on this

I painted the back of my tank black. I rolled it on with a small roller. It took about 4 coats. I used Valspar Black Satin Latex paint from Lowe's. It will peel right off if I ever decide to change it and it looks great. Definitely recommend it! Check out my 125G setup thread for pics.

X2 except I got mine from Home Depot and used a brush =P

Thanks guys i was guessing latex just for that reason but i wasent sure and the tank is gonna have a venizuala pike, 2 pbass and a spotted gar

I just painted the back of my tank black using a can of spay paint mat black looks great no shine. one can did about 2 coats on my 125 gallon

I painted mine with regular spray paint no side effects. Just make sure u don't get any paint inside the tank

Alright im gonna use latex i think, just incase i want it off
