Painting pvc piping and putting in tank...

Is this safe to do, and if so what paint should I use...just want to know if I can paint it black, or is this a no no?

Krylon fusion for plastic is what is generally used.

ok cool...thats a spray paint I'm assuming?

Run the pipes down with acetone (to prevent bubbling and chipping)
Spray with Krylon Fusion
Allow to cure for 24-48 hours

will krylon fusion let any toxins into the water? sorry for all the questions, just want to make sure its ok for the fish!
