I just bought a used 55 gallon that has black trim around it and was wondering if i can paint it black? It just looks a little faded and all. This a good idea? Thanx!

yes you can im on my like 5th tank doing this is actually really easy just buy some plastic and tape all the glas up and you only want to use krylon fusion plastic spray paint...it looks really good when your done...and the paint is fish safe ive even heard you coupld paint pvc or plastic that sits in the water....
this is pics of the last one i did i also have pics of the 125 i did and im doing my new 220 tonight...it turns out really nice looking...
krylon fusion for plastic is available @ walmart like 4.95 you would only need 1 can. you can also paint the light hoods too...ive done all mine.
