Pair Black Nasty

Is this possible to do??? I know there psyco but are they crazy towards each other as well?? I was planning on raising 6 in a tank and hopefully getting a pair out of it. Can this happen or will a divider be needed all the time???

definetly possible to do, polomax has a large pair. a divider on hand is needed with most large cichlid pairs

Females get very protective of fry when free swimming so I would always have a divider handy. My 13" male hait was very gentle with the female. I never had an issue with regards to aggression coming from the male even though at that time the female was only 7-8 inches. They were in my 6' 150 g tank.
