pair of cons

so ive got a pair of cons and there swimming around together for about half the day and the other half the female hides under the filter. when theyre together there digging out nests in the gravel. theyve been doing this for about 2 weeks now but i havent seen any eggs. there 2 or less iches, whats the deal?

Just give them time.At least they haven't killed each other.

Mine were like that at first too.They may not be mature enough yet,or one isn't ready to do the deed when the other is.
Just give them some more time.Before you know it,you'll be saying,"man,they did it again"

i can't wait to be saying that too. but mine i just put in the tank and they are trying to pair up already. but they are doing the same thing yours are...

Might be a bit small for breeding. Try doing a water change to spur breeding.
