I want to get a pair but in the lfs they all look the same. Any pointers or traits to look for in selecting male and female?

I have a male/female pair of firemouth also. I like how their mouths look funny when they eat pellets.

Danny: The males have extended long fins, are bigger, and show much more red.

Actually he was yawning, just closed his mouth when i shot.
