Hi everyone, I'm knew here and I need some advice. Would I be able to keep a pair of Loisellei's with a Cobra Pike in a 120 gallon aquarium along with a 9" striped raphael catfish and a synodontis? I really don't want my tank to be overcrowded and I would like to keep aggression down to a minimum. I know it might be stretching It, but I am also looking into a smaller cichlid that grow to be 8 to 10 inches. Some of my choices are a severum, Jack dempsey, or a pearlscale cichlid. Would any of these be able two work in my tank along with the loisellei's and pike?

A breeding pair of loisellei's, along with a cobra pike and a couple big catfish, would be a pretty well stocked tank. Your gonna want to go smaller than 10". Get a salvini. They are pretty, tough, and stay 7".

agreed, they are pretty agressive also..a 120 could work..just have to watch it closely..i wouldnt want to be a fish in there is the loisellei's decide to breed..i really wouldn't add anymore fish to it..

I have a question. Would I be able to get some sort of polypterus instead of a salvini? I was thinking of Polypterus delhezi.
