I have 2 jack dempseys one that which is a female that was moved over in my tank with my male that was by himself. I removed her from where she was with the other male because they didn't seem to care for other at all... So now she is in the new tank with my other male jack dempsey and they get along great... They follow each other everywhere.. Like they don't move without one another.... They have dug up my entire tank lol making spots all around the tank dug up down to the glass.. I recently just added another layer of sand in my tank because it was so thin and since I've done that the male has been chasing the female around the tank.. I've never seen them become hostile towards each other so I then added a large flower pot and they are now both in it... What is going on lol...? Also they have live plants and limestone rock and trees with floating plants in the tank along with 3 silver dollars and a feeder goldfish they refuse to eat... The jds also won't eat anything.
