Hey guys I currently am in a bit of a pickle. Thing is I have two longfin oscars, one tiger and one albino, and the albino is significantly larger than the tiger. When i say significantly i mean the albino is 3.5 inches and the tiger is about 1.5 giver or take. What I want to do is pair them up, or well...pair is probably the wrong word, more like adjust to each others company I suppose. Now my original plan was to dump them both into a new tank so the larger wouldnt be concerned about what has become its "territory" so it would be newground for both. But the thing is I just woke up this morning and the albino had tried to eat a jag that was almost the same size as my tiger o. So my question is, how do i get them aquainted? The end result is I'd really like to grow them up together and have them in my 120. thanks for all the advice in advance

well good thing is oscars grow quick so your smaller one shouldnt be too small for long, if you dont want to wait until the smaller one is big enough to not get eaten before putting them together then your best bet would be to get some egg crate (plastic light diffuser) and create a divider for your tank, that way they can see each other and everything but the larger one wouldn't be able to get to the smaller one until its big enough to remove the divider, also make sure there are lots of hiding spots so the smaller fish can get away if they need to, usually Os are too lazy to chase down a smaller fish if there too fast
