pale chameleon

my chameleon has been very pale lately should i be concerned? he is still very active and eating but not really changing color

it is veiled about 6 months old

Cool him down, see if he darkens up.
They generally get lighter the warmer they are.
He may be shedding his skin, if so keep humidity up.

Yeah, when they become light they are usually too hot and are trying to reflect the heat.

i don't think its heat the cage is really big and ventilated so he can cool off if he's hot. he shed a couple days ago but hasn't gotten his color back
