Thinking of going steel and even double stacking, anyone ever done it with an acrylic 240? Will the 96" x 24" work or do I need to go past 8 feet in width or 2 feet for the depth of the rack?

Pics would be great!!!

hey man

not sure about 240, I do have 130G glass 2 tier and it hold the weight fine, seeing as its glass it may end weighing the same, My racks hold 1ton per each level and if I went the next level up it would hold 2 tons per a level so I believe you should be fine, then only issue I see is getting the tanks up but if its only 2 tier should be a bit easier!

I also have 180s on 2 tier stands but ts not pallet racking, even if built right you could get away using wood only difference with wood is you have to use thicker beams to get the same outcome as steel and if a screw or nail is wrong the whole system can break !
