I have a pair of panamense, male is about 4", female 3". They can be very aggressive towards each other and other fish. Mine have spawned a number of times, but the male always ends up eating the fry, chasing off the female etc. I am shortly going to be offloading this pair to a friend. Lovely looking fish when they get bigger.

One another note I recently aquired 6 small panamense about an inch in length, lost the lot to bloat. Yours at 2" are about the same size I aquired my original batch at and had no problems at all. Just one of those things.

I have a 4" bonded pair that eat like absolute pigs. They can be rough on each other but IME not to tough to raise. Mine share a 180 with a pair of Ornatum and Coeruleus and they all get along very well.

My Panamense pair spawned on Christmas Day, this was the second spawn of the day, the first being a pair of wild caught Zonatums. This time the panamense spawn was large for the size of the fishes, a good 70 to 100 eggs. Once the fry reach the free swimming stage I will syphon a small amount off to grow on.
