i have been having a hard time deciding between which to get, an euathlus sp.red or an emperor scorpion and i wanted to ask for anyone's opinions on which to get. if i get an emperor i may get more than one, but with the tarantula i would only get one for a while at least (famous last words)
Also i feed my snakes every two weeks and i was wondering if this schedule would work for an emperor scorpion by just doubling the amount of food you would feed him every week. if not that is fine, it would just help make feeding time easier.

Get the tarantula; emperor scorpions are just pet holes.

are you saying that they hide too much, that can be an issue with both. i am ok with a pet that hides some as long as it comes out once in a while

Emperor scorpions might come out for food if you're lucky & are rarely seen once they've acclimated to their enclosure; at least the tarantula will sit in the open part of the time once it gets used to you.

With a scorpion you won't see it unless you stay up till the moon is out every night. My female U. mordax only comes out if I lift up her log or if I'm Cleaning the enclosure.
