Does anyone have any advice on these fish, other than dont get any which I've been told, unfortunately too late, got em!! I understand they'll get big but for now, anything on types of food, how much would be great. Also if anyone has any ideas how I can get the food to them before my Aro gets it?!!!! Thanks

mines like 14'' and still growing...they have relatively slow growth rate...but apparently they can get huge....mine eat pellets and small fish...

Will yours take live fish? My Aro and RK seem to get all the fish first! Even if I try sink dead ones to the bottom, the Aro gets most of em on the way, greedy bugger!!

I have 4 Irr sharks and they are wicked fast growers, they were like maybe an inch in Jan 08,and now they are nearing 6 inches thats 5 inches in 2.5 monthes. They eat EVERYTHING!!!But really like Tetra Cichlid sticks and raw shrimp. They are really cool cats, non stop movement, plus they get real solid looking(kinda musclculiar).

Ya they are extremely fast growers. I got a 5" and a 3", they are kinda stupid when it comes to food so tropical flakes is their choice of food. The bigger one likes to try and eat the medium hikari pellets but he doesnt seem to get the concept of swallowing all the time so he spits it out and the tinfoils are there in a heart beat and get it.

I stick a copper tube in the tank and put a nice pinch of crisps in and let it sink to the bottom. Then guard half the tank with the pipe to keep the other fish away so they can eat. My big guy eats algae wafers once in a while. Used to eat shrimp pellets, but they dont like the topfin shrimp pellets I have. They ate the wardley though.

Heres my big guy

Mine will only eat flakes and sometime floating pellets. I've been told bloodworms are irresistible to them, not true for mine, but maybe yours will cooperate.
