pangasius feeding

i bought a 6 inch pangasius cat with raw lips, its lips are healing nicely but it hasn't eaten yet. what shoud i do?

What foods have you tried? Frozen bloodworms will work or try smearing the foods with garlic to tempt it to eat.

Smear them with garlic. If it does not attempt to eat, wait for a few more days before trying again.

just give it time.

Frozen beefheart cubes always made my catfish when smaller go nuts! Actually if I toss a few in as a treat, as big as they are now, they still love them

try mysis shrimp to get him going. then try raw market shrimp, depending on how well he eats...

My ID sharks go through periods of not eating. I have learned not to panick. My large one (26" 16+ years old) did not eat for almost a year when I put him in his new pond. They will often bang themselves up. Use aquarium salt for all injuries and sickness.
