I only know the ID shark and Paroon as part of the genus Pangasius. What family do they come from and can anyone provide me more species of Pangasius and pics of them?

Now I'm just interested in knowing how big they get in captivity and seeing some pics of them ALIVE (Most of them are either out of water and dead) and in the water.

typically they don't survive in most captive locals long enough to get huge... but there are a few of them out there... If you search the threads you will find one with some good pics of some from an asian zoo and they all look in the 4-5' range... if I remember correctly Necrocanis posted that pic... if he comes across this thread I'm sure he has some pics of some big ones to post up for you
