i recently swaped this fish for 2 convicts and 25 euro.
i'm thinking it might be sanitwongsei' its about 12", i've got it in a 5 foot 400 litre
tank. can they really get to 10 feet, are these fish predatory, i've got it in with convicts , sevs, featherfin, poly, jewel. i've got this fish 3 days now and have not seen it feed yet , it looks a bit thin to me, i've tried flake, pellet, worms, chicken. any ideas ? thanks !

yup, that's a pangasius sanitwongsei.
not 10 feet, usually like 4-5 feet.
give it some time, but try shrimp, pellets, tilapia, or silversides.
these fish usually take a little while to adjust to their environment

ye think my other fish are safe with this monster ?

thanks mate ! i'll keep an eye on it, can you tell the sex of it, how fast do they grow.

Nice sanitwongsei you have there! Once adjusted you are going to lose other fish in that tank. What can fit in their mouth will. Mine did not eat for 3 months when transferred from a 100 gallon to a 300 gallon pond. Once acclimated their appetite is huge. Are you getting a plan ready for a 1000+ gallon tank or pond.... :)

i'll see how he goes, can't really aford, 1000 gallon at the moment !
i know why the guy i got him from was so egar to sell him, yeah i got stung !!!
might just feed him up a-bit and sell him on, "convicts as feeder fish"

great looking fish u got there tho!
