So in the lfs that never has anything good as far as catfish goes, I see a sign that says Pangasius Sharks. They are quarantined, but I am going to talk to the owner about getting two anyway, and treating them myself seeing as they have ich. They don't look like ID sharks. Their heads are more bulbous from the dorsal fin down to the tip of their nose. Where as my id sharks have an indention between the fin and nose these are just bulbous all the way. Definitely not Paroon sharks that's for sure, but one of these three maybe.
Pangasius pangasius
Pangasius bocourti
Pangasius larnaudii
I'll try to get some pics tomorrow, but I can't promise anything. They are about 3" and $7 a piece. So going to try and get two to treat and raise. Looks most like bocourtii, and larnaudii, and least like P. pangasius. In your guy's expirience which do you see for sale most often under that name? I'm not too great with asian catfish, but I'm trying. Oh yeah, same coloration as ID sharks for now, just a bulkier overall appearance, and head different.
