I did my research and want to purchase 2 panther chameleons. I am gonna get a aluminum cage. And idk what size i will need. I know one will need a 100. Anyone know what size i will need. And i know a ficus tree can go in there. But anyone know of any colorful plants to go in there too. Any help will be nice.

Does anyone know anything about chameleons??

I hope you know you can not house them together
I would recommend a cage thats 4 feet tall 3 foot long and 2 feet wide and ficus, hibiscus, and umbrella plants are good and hibiscus will bloom flowers
I would also get a pothos
I must warn you that chams are a lot of work and getting misted twice a day and getting proper temps can be a lot of work and these guys can die without showing any warning
but if you research long and hard and read lots ask lots of questions you should be ok but think this out and find every possible thing about them

y cant they be put together??

go on the forums but instead of asking a bunch of questions use the search
screameleons is regarded as one of the best and your best bet for a healthy cham is one from these guys

also chams don't like being held to much so think on that most of the time your going to get hissed at and they will make a big fuss and when they bite you won't forget and often times they thrash and its a very odd feeling

Lol cant wait for the first bite. I will be sure to have a first aid box. My luck it will take my thumb off get lose in the house. And i will be hiding in corner to animal cops come and pharamedics get there. But i am rdy for the worst lol.

This article should help you get started: http://www.chameleonnews.com/?page=article&id=74

You're not going to be able to get a Jonston's Chameleon. They are very rare. If you are talking about Jackson's Chameleons, you should probably consider another species for a first chameleon as they can be more complicated to keep then some others.
