Hey guys, I just found a neat tip online, I just want to to make sure it's legit. I heard that paprika is supposed to enhance the red color in cichlids? Is this true? I do have Spanish fancy paprika in my shelves and I want to make sure paprika has no certain chemicals harmful to fish. If this is true that means I can add this to the night crawlers my 7" kelberi readily takes, which would bring out the really nice reddish colour cichlas have. Can anyone please help me on this???

Never heard of this one, where'd you see this?

Yea. I think old discus keepers used to use it. If I remember correctly.

Yea it's safe. It's usually mixed with food and given to fish. Not sure about dosing.

Just feed massivore.

Is massivore a supplement you can add to food? Because i won't be able to feed him pellets for a LOOONG time, that is if it's possible for me to brake him onto pellets... But for now I can only add supplements to live food such as nightcrawlers. And what kind of Pbass is on your avatar? It seems a little similar to my kelberi. He has sort of a broken stripe running a little from the peacock spot, and he only has spots on about half his tail and on his back dorsal? Could mine be some sort of hybrid? I can provide pictures if you like.

Massivore is a pellet made by hikari. Its like crack for fish.
Look up my bloodworm method. WOrks wonders.

The fish in my avatar is an azul.
