They're "endangered"(although I think they farm them) from what I heard and really aren't even supposed to be coming in.. Customs should have caught them..
Up until a year or so ago they were classified with their close relative that is on the red list. They have since been seperated into a different species and do not fall under the red list, However FWC is still considering them the same and is enforcing that. If caught they will take them and you could receive a fine. Oddball knows more about it than I do. Hopefully he will post later to clarify it more.
