my LFS has 2 of these pleco's and they are around 5-6 inches and they want 59.99 for each one. is this a good deal, and how rare are these types of plecos? this was the first time i have seen thee types. this LFS can pretty much get and fish and they have tons of rare fish. i also bought a crenicichla lenticulata that is 6 inches for $50. btw my tanks is a 175g oceanic bow front.

Seems like a large size. Here's a site that has them at "medium" for $30 (but currently out of stock)

one of the best pleco's out there in my opinion.They are very active,very colorful,and very hardy.
