Parachanna legal?

I know all channa are illegal in the US but what about parachanna? The African cousins?

Get a bowfin, closest you will get to a legal snakehead.

The bans are on all Channidae, which includes both channa and parachanna.

sucks doesn't it? haha. as suggested, bowfin are unique natives that have a similar body shape to snakeheads. Not as aggressive but definitely a bucketlist fish for me.

Yeah I had a bowfin...it was pretty cool but it only came out at night and beat up/ate all it's tankmates at night

Only other I would suggest is a red or black wolf fish, or move here, uk ftw!-)
