Hi guys,

just a few pics of my two african snakeheads .

Both live in a 400 L tank, the water is dark brown cause the wood inside colours it nicely.

Due to the darkness, aquatic plants do not grow well, so I planted them On the wood, so that they can grow above water level.

Hi,

snakeheads are best kepz in species tanks on thier own.
But P. obscura is a very peacful snakehead, and in some cases it works having them together with bichirs and big Ctenopoma or other african fish, that are to big for beeing prey and do not attack the snakehead, cause P. obscura gets shy very soon
