hi i what kind do u recommend? i was originally thinking a managuense but then i saw a couple pics of a freddy and i think theyre beautiful but i cant find too many more. from what i saw the females were much more attractive and the males were kinda drab is this true? i plan on getting a 180g or larger i have an oscar and 2 carpinte i cant get a dovii and i saw the red tiger but i just cant make up m mind any suggestions would be appreciated thx guys

loisellei. a great fish to own they have a great personality but i found mine to be a bit of a wimp and he got beat on by a gold sev. he was a very nice fish though, sold to me as a jag. always bright yellow with nice metallic blue patches on his head if i remember correct.
i believe they are the most mellow of the parachromis, but like most cichlids its hard to generalise a behaviour.
mine ate whole algae wafers as well as pellets and bloodworm.
