Still lingering around a foot in length but starting to grow some major balls. I haven't posted any pics recently because this tank they're gets no light. Using a dslr w/ flash I was able to get some decent shots. Enjoy!

Thanks fellas! I got him at 5" and I've had him for about two years. He's been spawning like a mad man throughout. In fact, I'm willing to bet that somewhere out there some of his first offspring are hitting the 8" mark.

He is a stud Ed! I love how vibrant the female is too. I wish mine displayed colors like that.

The colors change from moment to moment and lighting is a huge overall factor as well. This male gets outrageous colors and pattern while courting then loses most of his aesthetic appeal (to me anyway) while defending eggs and fry.
