Parachromis dovii, the guapote, rainbow bass, or wolf cichlid at Fish Story

On the dovii size from YT:

dazellis8057 it's on YouTube I watched it years ago he has pictures it's just the face of the dovii with 1" teeth like it was caught and head cut off and body eaten looked to clean to be another fish and it was found on land so more than likely catch and cook eyes jaw and gill plate rest was gone
Fish-Story I wonder if the the tooth has some length buried in the gum and then a root to make up the length of 1 inch.

the clips are older than 15years and he says he's been doing it 37 years in the clips he explains why reds were so hard to get because you had to fish them from a specific part of a specific river off of a 100ft cliff and most died by the time they'd been reeled up

He started in 76 was the first person to import Malawi cichlids into America he had a fish farm in Tampa Florida he shows the doviis face with the 1inch teeth and it looks insane also shows the 28pounder trophy fish on a wall guy was one of if not the best for knowledge in my opinion
when you see the picture the teeth are insane nothing like any tank bred dovii only a 6min clip the protrusion of the teeth is like a piranha

As I suspected the teeth on that leftover piece of dovii snout are fully bare as no flesh is left, no lips, so we are seeing more than what usually protrudes out of gums. Still a stunning dentition for a dovii. And the 28 pounder is astonishing that's 5x bigger by weight than Bigger Bad was! We are all used to seeing average 150 lb people so that's like seeing a normal bodied normal-looking person that's 750 lbs
dazellis8057 it's crazy to think of them that size that would of been the alpha males go around in groups and the big alpha gets that big hump/kok that's why they call them wolf cichlids alot of people think it's because of there big canines but they also go around in packs with an alpha there's an aquarium that has some most like bigger bad and my doviis iv had and one with the big hump clearly the alpha because the smaller 18 to 20 inches move out of its way
search pesca guapotes to get an idea of there habitat the reds were in a part of river with 100ft cliffs the first red dovii was caught as a red devil until they realised it was a dovii
search can dovii reach 36 inches skip to 6mins to see the alpha in the public aquarium the tanks huge when you see the big 3 appear from the back it's crazy make big dovii look small
