Here's one of the new Dovii that i just got! I cant wait to grow these out!

They are the best fish to grow from that size to a mature fish. They go through so many changes, I would recommend anyone who is going to get a Dovii get them as fry. Be patient and be ready.

NWatson completely right! I look back and wonder how my cautious little Dovii has became an aquarium watch dog full of power. Just amazing fish to grow, a lot of patients is needed

I just picked up 4 1" Heredia Dovii myself. So, I know how you're feeling. Nothing like growing a beast from a fry.

They came from Nicaragua, I got them from fishman09 maybe he knows a little more? Yeah it was quite a committment. I am starting with 6 fry in a 90 gal and plan on selecting one for a ~200g

i just picked up a 1.5'' fry a month and a half ago and it is now pushing 3.5''. so they grow quick and they are a joy to have cant wait for mine to fill the 240 he is in. Can't wait for updates on these guys

What is a parachromis sieve? Do you mean excichlasoma grammodes which isn't a parachromis? Are you the scientist changing grammodes genus?
