Parachromis I.D.

Hello, i just purchased a 3.5 inch parachromis, wondering if anyone could help me id what kind I have, the the LFS it was just marked parachromis on the tank lol

Agree with the above. Looks like a young Parachromis Friedrichsthalii (formally P. Loisellei)
 
I agree on the ID, aren't they both referred to as Multifasciatus now? Or has loisellei changed, and the fish we used to call Friedrichsthalli is now multi? I'm not quite clear on that.

Here is an old fish of mine, what we used to call "loisellei", this one was probably a little bigger than yours. The bright yellow color and grey "worming" on forehead are what I used to use to differenciate between these and (what we used to call) freddy's.

Loisellei are now friedrichsthalii and what was previously friedrichsthalii is now Multifasciatus.
