Parachromis ID - What do you guys think?

Hi all,

You guys have seen this fish before, but it has changed appearance since I last posted. I got this at my LFS as a Motaguense and it was nice and red at that time. Now it is orange...and looks like a female jaguar...but orange

Did I get a hybrid? What do you guys think she is?

She looks like a female Jag except the dorsal fin make me think mota....not sure.

Any more opinions? Certainly her bad attitude says Mota since female jags (IME) are not that aggressive.

it looks like a female Mota to me. Find a male for her and see how red she gets. Do you feed her Krill at all?

To slender to be a female mota.. definately a hybrid

It's a female managuense. 100% sure. Female motaguense has a red mark on the belly and a large vertical blotch on the operculum.

I have to agree I just went and looked you are 100% correct. It's a Jag!
