hi guys as some of you may know i have just aquired a little jag, i already have a female and when the little guy has put a little size on i would like to try an put them together. What i would really like to do though is make a lake managua biotope for them, iv tried having a look online for pictures but its come up pretty fruitless to be honest. Im thinking mellow lighting, plenty of bogwood, rocks, light gravel and floating plants like frogbit and some attatched to the wood, not sure exactly what yet. just wondering if any of you had pictures of your tanks or had any pictures that would suit my plans...or if iv got it completely wrong any ideas on a traditional biotope for these guys

well from what iv read sand might be a better option, just wondering if you guys know if light or dark substrate compliments jag colours better

at the moment guys iv been and got two really nice peices of wood that il post pics of later, they go really dark in water and are still releasing tannins but i actually quite like that look. Im gonna go and pick some sand up today think im gonna go for a muddy look kind of sand and pick up some large stanes, they have some large light stones there which look great and il grab some pebbles and small stones while im there
