Any concerns about these, I have rams, gouramis, angelfish, passive new world cichlids (mostly rams), barbs, cory cats, and zebra danios.

I think these guys are stunning and always wanted one. If I get one will it be less aggressive or likely to be without the opposite sex.

My Supplier has some nice specimens.

I've never seen them be aggressive but I don't have too much experience with them. I'd be more concerned about the barbs, if they're tiger barbs, nipping at him.

Iv got peaceful gold barbs 2M/2F

Tiger barbs are a no way, my favorite angel has just regrown his fins. Those things are possessed!
Tell me about it. My tiger barbs pick on my convict lol.
I don't see a problem with the paradise fish but like I said my knowledge and experience with them is pretty limited.

They prefer cooler water, you may run into issues with tropical temperatures

I used to keep paradise fish in my rain barrel outside, spring thru fall in Wisconsin to keep mosquitos hatching out to a minimum. The water temp in the barrel would sometimes drop into the 50s F, and at the end of summer I'd usually find at least 20 of so fry, beside the parent paradise fish. They do come from areas in Korea and China, which would by no means be considered tropical areas, although with aquarium strains, constant temp may not be too great an issue.

I used to breed them. Quite easy, actually, and fun to observe.
Gorgeous fish.
You'll love it. Get a pair.
