After almost 2 years of having empty undecorated tanks, I decided to add some plants and rocks. I like the "paradise" look:
I don't know what the hell these plants are called, but I thought they looked cool... almost like plastic. I was first afraid my fly river turtle will snack on them, but apparently she's leaving these well alone.
Most people use a big driftwood as a center piece, but I decided to go with this nice rock. I have several others in there. Can you believe these rocks cost me $30?! They're just... rocks.
A very photogenic fish, he's the most interative fish in my tank. He's not showing his full potential (color) due to the light sand substrate which washes away his deep male coloration typically displayed in a "paradise fish".
