Hey,
one of my fishdealers currently has some electric dwarf catfish in stock.
Can anyone confirm the species?
To me they almost look like Malapterurus microstoma.

Yes that's exactly what I am thinking.
The head looks like M.microstoma.
And it would be quite the bad sitation if I'd get 3-5 for a 4ft tank thinking it's the dwarf EC and I'd end up with 3-5 Microstoma reaching 20in to 2ft each.

Do you know you could house several dwarf e-cats in one tank?

no I am not sure if it would work out but I could seperate 3-5 dwarf EC without any problems.
