New Juvi Sarabia in his grow out tank along with RTM's and Salvini.
I haven't seen alot or know alot about these guys. Store says they like shrimp and algae...........got plenty of that; get 12" and they get purple; the extent of my knowledge.

Nice pickup....riverine cichlid....they pretty much eat anything in the captivity. It will take a very long time for them to reach 12".

Nice pickup! They do get to about 12" but it will take a few years. They like to scrape algae off the driftwood. Feed him a green based diet not too many high protien foods. I had a breeding pair, male was 12" female about 10", gorgeous purple markings over a green base color when they are adult. Good luck.
