Woke up this morning, March 22, and found that my Paraneetroplus nebuliferus pair had spawned!!!
Not entirely sure if they are fertilized or not, but the female is doing a darn great job chasing away anything that swims. Even challenged me a few times. Ha. The eggs still look yellowish, and seem to have a small white orb in them, so I'm hoping they are definitely good to go.
These guys lay LARGE eggs. Wow! I was surprised by how large they are. Not very many either, maybe 100, possibly 150, if that. I guess they make up for it with the larger size? My first time getting them to spawn, so I'm just happy.
Now, for the crappy pictures. The tank has a lot of scratches in the front glass, so its hard to get the camera to focus properly. Need to get a NICE display tank.
