Paraneetropuks Breidohri

Hi. This is a tank of a good friend of mine.
He have 2 Paraneetroplus Breidohri (male and female) F1, and suddenly last month they started to spawn.

The thing is, they too small to spawn for our opinion.
It doesnt make sense, the male is 3", and the female is 2.5".

My question is if it's normal, or rare? I never heard of anything like that.

Someone else here recently had the same experience. Obviously they're not too small to breed if they're breeding. Nice breidohri!

When I was growing mine out they spawned at the same size yours did. I have also heard of other people having them spawn this young.

Breidhori spawn at very small sizes, this is normal. I had a pair that spawned F 2.5, M 3.

You can tell when comparing the size of the pea gravel.
